Taylor 1710 Indoor and Outdoor Thermometer with Wired Probe
We needed a min-max thermometer to monitor the efficiency of our RV propane refrigerator without having to open the door to check the readings. The wireless types were not suitable as our refrigerator is a small, under-the-counter style and space is at a premium. The sending units of those wireless thermometers simply take up too much of the available room in either the freezer or refrigerator. This unit has a very small probe attached to a very thin wire. The sensor slips easily through the hinged portion of our refrigerator door. The receiving unit is conveniently mounted nearby, secured to an interior post to keep it from being damaged or dislodged when traveling over rough roads. We have this unit in our freezer and a similar one monitors the refrigerator compartment temperature.
