Coleman Matchlight 2-Burner Propane Stove
This is the first propane stove I have purchased. My son and I used to go camping with the Scouts and didn't need a stove, but now that he is no longer in the Scouts I had to buy one so we can cook. This stove assembled easily and worked right out of the box. It uses propane cylinders, so it is not a stove that you might want to backpack any great distance with, but for walk in camping or short packing it should be fine.Burners both lit right away and put out a lot of heat. The only problem I had was that it is very hard to adjust the flame on the low end. You turn the knob to low and it wants to adjust back to a higher flame. Maybe this is not bad if you are cooking in heavier gauge cookware, but cooking in an aluminum mess kit pan is very difficult as the high heat is transmitted directly to the food and things can burn easily. If you want to boil water quickly this stove will do it.
The Coleman Matchlight 2-Burner Propane Stove is especially designed for outdoor cooking. It features an all-metal construction with 2 adjustable burners. The burners are fully controllable from simmer to full output, giving you maximum control over the cooking process. This Coleman 2-burner propane stove has a high-pressure regulator that ensures a constant flame regardless of weather conditions. Wind baffles shield the flame from wind while cooking. A single cylinder of this outdoor 2-burner stove will last up to 1.1 hours with both burners on high. If the burners are kept on low, it can last for up to 4.5 hours. This is usually enough to take care of most of your cooking needs. This 20000-BTU propane stove has a removable nickel-chrome-plated grate that makes for easy cleaning. The aluminized and nickel-chrome cooktop is very rugged, holding up to hot food and bumps or everyday use.Get more out of your outdoor cooking with the Coleman Matchlight 2-Burner Propane Stove.
