Snow Joe SJ622E Ultra 15 Amp 18 in. Electric Snow Thrower
Boise doesn't really get enough snow to justify the purchase of a big gas snow thrower. But I am 60 and shoveling snow is no fun any more. I also have a large driveway and two office building that I have to clear. So I bought one on close out at the end of last year. This year, we have had quite a bit of snow and man am I glad I bought the Snow Joe. We have had storms of up to 8 inches and the Snow Joe has handled them perfectly. I can get the driveway done in less than half the time with much less work. It easily throws snow 10 feet and cleans right down to the pavement. I am telling all my neighbors to buy one.The handle folds so it will fit easily in the back of my Toyota Highlander. I can pick it up with one hand. And it starts with the punch of a button. No pulling a rope and hoping it starts. The power cord can be difficult to deal with, as with any corded power tool. And it may not be the best for heavy or deep snow. But for home use, I highly recommend it.
